I got my first pineapple plant last summer. it grew a small, great tasting pineapple. One year later, look how many it produced. In a couple of years, I'll need a bigger table, whatcha think? ![[Linked Image]](http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll233/cricket_087/Plants/pineapples.jpg) I've been giving my daylillys extra water this spring and what a difference it has made. I've never had so many blooms! ![[Linked Image]](http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll233/cricket_087/Plants/daylillies.jpg)

that's cool that you actually got a pineapple to eat from that plant.

when I got the plant it was already starting to grow the pineapple. it was very fun to watch, and what a conversation piece! my hubby bought it for me and I argued with him that pineapples grew on trees. and what he bought was something else. ha ha finally he said ok internet freak, go look it up. boy did i feel silly. ha ha. it takes a couple of years for the pineapple plant to produce a fruit. so next summer, if i'm lucky, will be my first time to actually grow a pineapple since it was already growing one when I got it.
