We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Hi Merme.

You know DOT has cut 2 trees down in the yard that shaded this gauge. I laughed when I saw it and thought it was broken, but it's not. So, at some point during the afternoon it must have been that hot in that location. Sad to say that's the area that WAS my shade garden. I had pansy's, in pots, in that area through July. Already this season one pot of pansys has already bit the dust. We'll see what happens to the hosta.

Surely that's just hotter from being in the sun? I know mine is like that...the other day it was about 82 and my thermometer said it was 105....it was sitting in full sun...as soon as the sun shifted off the porch it went back to the correct temp.

Cindy, would you like some books to help pass the time? I have TONS...I could send you a few if there is a certain genre you like.

Cindy, speaking of books-----I have just about every Sharon McCone Mystery book printed.--they are by Marcia Muller. if you are interested, let me know---I know the 'just sitting' this time of year is especially hard.

It was so hot at the ball park today that when I slid my foot out of my flip flop for a second it burned my foot when I slid it back in.
