This is very simple to make and quite delicious! The secret to its success is the types of cheeses used and being very careful not to scorch the sauce.

Makes 4 Large Servings.

Ingredients:
1 lb medium shrimp, cleaned and cooked
1 box penne pasta
1 bag shredded Italian Blend cheeses. I get mine at Wal-Mart and it includes part-skim mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Romano, Fontina and Asiago.
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c or so milk
small amount white flour

Directions:
Boil shrimp and strain.
Boil pasta

Just before the pasta is finished, start your Alfredo. Drop the small amount of white flour into the bag of cheese and shake to coat. Melt the butter in a medium sized sauce pan and add milk. When the milk is hot, add the flour-coated cheese and stir CONSTANTLY until melted. If it is too thick, add a bit more milk. It is ready when it is beautifully smooth.

Drain pasta and plate it. Cover with cooked shrimp. Ladle the Alfredo over shrimp and penne to serve.

I put salt, pepper and garlic powder on the table for individual taste preferences.

Options:
Some people like to add a can of chicken broth or apple juice to the melted butter and milk before adding the cheese. This makes a thinner Alfredo.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
