I'm going to share a recipe for custard next week. clapThe first time I made it,my mom ate some.It reminded her of her days as a child in Puerto Rico, when vendors would sell custard in little foil cups.My family ate it up in less than ten minutes.

Here's the recipe:

BAKED CUSTARD

3 eggs,slightly beaten
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
dash of salt
2 1/2 cups milk,scalded
ground nutmeg(optional)

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt in medium bowl.Gradually stir in milk. Pour into 6 six ounce custard cups(I use a muffin pan-makes more.)Place cups in 13 x 9 x 2 in. rectangular pan on oven rack.Pour very hot water into pan to within 1/2 in. of tops of cups.

Bake about 45 min. or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge of comes out clean.Serve warm or chilled.Refrigerate any remaining custards.
6 SERVINGS; 130 CALORIES PER SERVING.

Enjoy!
