...thanks to everyone here, my time being here, and ALL the gardening advice ALL of you have given me, I am now starting work in a florist/nursery!!! I wasn't home at all this past weekend, becuase of mothers day, and the crazyness of everything down there... as of now, i'm just hewlping out in the nursery, caring for plants, moving them around, and directing people on how to care for the plants, where they are, and stuff like that... over the summer, they're going to teach me how to make bouquets!!
That is amazing for you! I bet you're just going to love it! I think a nursery job would be the most perfect job ever! (I got offered one a few years ago but it was too far).
That is soooooooooo exciting Mark! Can't wait to hear about all the flowers you get to play with, and all you are learning!!! YOU BETTER come here and tell us, you hear?!? Just joking with you - have a wonderful time at your job!!!
I went to a new to me perennial nursery Sat. morning - I even asked the woman who was helping me if I could work there - she said I should call the owners, but they had a death in the family last week, so to wait a little while...
Mark!!!! That is awesome!!!!!!! I'm very proud of you!!
I would be thrilled as a customer to have a employee still in Highschool,, advice me about plants ,, More young people need to learn how to garden! .. You are a great gardening role model Mark!!

my dad owned a wholesale nursery for many years. I spent all my summers, spring breaks, Christmas breaks working there while i was in jr high and high school. that's probably why I still garden today... or maybe I just drank out of the blue hoses too much. (the blue hoses' were fertilizer water!) ha ha lots of great memories there......
congratulations mark!
