My husband saw this on my feeder yesterday morning, had no idea what it was. It was shiny black and white wings with white and red chest. Can't see the red in this picture.

Your bird is a male rose-Breasted Grosbeak. It should have a BRILLIANT rose-pink triangle or heart shape on the front of its breast (hence the name).
Kingdoms RAGE and go to war...but the PEasants plant potatoes.. EARTH FIRST! (we'll strip-mine the OTHER planets later.)
