Hello to all -

I have a significant area of vinca minor that has been established for about twenty years. Within the last twelve months the invasion of the wild strawberry monsters has taken almost completely over. When they began their attack I went to the root of the matter and pulled them from within the vinca. But, they were too well organized and stealthily continued their march through the nooks and crannies of the vinca till I can hardly recognize the area.

Is there any chemical that I can use that will wipe out these aliens, yet leave the vinca unharmed. If anyone knows, please beam it to me.

Live long and kill all weeds

no

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Sorry to say that I'm with Rubgy on this one. Whatever will kill one will kill the other. It's so interesting that the strawberry plants have taken over the vinca. I have trouble the other way around. I am continously pulling up and spraying vinca. Right now the stuff is trying to kill my gardenias.
