I was given this plant some years ago and the person died without telling me what the plant was. Can you help?

looks like a night blooming cereus or something in that family.

if the stems are round at the bottom and flatten toward the top.

i have one. it doesn't bloom for me, but has for the prior owner.

yep looks like an epi to me too.! there are several varities, with different color blooms, They will bloom at night and has the sweetest scent and gorgeous!!! Likes shade or very dappled sun, and likes being outside,, living in Alabama, your's should be blooming this spring or summer!

This is just so weird! Just last night at dinner, a friend and I were talking about her mom's night blooming cerus that we saw when we visited her in Puerto Rico a few years ago. I had never seen one before, and haven't since in person. We missed the bloom by just a few days unfortunately.

I was going to say that that is what I thought your plant is also.
I hope it does bloom for you this year!

I have one now and it bloomed one time outdoors and I messed it till it closed.
