ME N MY HUBS HAVE BEEN DOING LOTS OF YARD DETAILING THIS YEAR SINCE JANUARY WHEN ALL THE GOOD PLANTS STARTED COMING OUT AND THE FIRST THING WE STARTED WITH WAS OUR OLD OLD FENCE LINE::
A RUSTED OUT HOG FENCE UP WITH DRY ROTTED 2X4 HOLDING IT UP ALL ALOONG THE WAY IN SOME SPOTS IT HAD FALLEN OVER TOO WHICH ALLOWED THE WOODSY AREA OF THE LAND COME INTO THE ACTUAL YARD
ALONG THE FENCE WAS AN OAK TREE, HUGE OLD OAK THAT WE DECIDE TO KEEP CAUSE ITS HOME TO ALL THE LIL ANIMALS YA KNO NPLUS ITS A MAJOR SHADE FOR OUR BACKYARD
THEN ALL DOWN IT THE REST OF THE WAY - TIL U HIT THE ROAD- WAS OINK AZALEA BUSHES ATE UP IN VINES N DAFFODILS N HONEYSUCKLLE N LOTS OF weeds
IT JUST LOOKED HORRIBLE
I NEVER WANTED TO GO OUTSIDE TO SEE SUCH A SCENE
SO ALL OF IT CAME UP, EVERY BIT OF IT!!
LOTS OF WORK N SWEAT N MONEY BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT
WE CLEAR CUT THE OTHER SIDE F THE FENCE AND PUT UP A BRAND NEW ONE FENCE
WHICH JUST THAT ALONE WAS A WONDERFUL EYESITE
BUT WE SURE DIDNT STOP THERE
WE HAVE 3 PECAN TREES OVER THERE WHICH LINK IN WITH THE OAK AT THE TREETOPS N MAKES THAT WHOLE BACK N SIDE YARD SHADY!!
SO AROUND THE TREES WE PLANTED SHADE LOVIN PLANTS::
ALL KINDS OF HOSTA, BLEEDING HEARST, CALLA lillies (MY FAV) N MUH MORE
ALONG THE FENCE WE PLANTED HONEYSUCKLE RED N YELLOW N AT EACH END WE PUT BLUEBERRY BUSHES N WE STUCK A FRAGRANT GARDENIA OVER THERE TOO!!
WE HAVE A FEW MORE THINGS WED LIKE TO PUT OVER THERE BUT FOR NOW WE'LL LEAVE IT HOW IT IS!!
I LOVE ANIMALS
SO FOR MOTHERS DAY I WAS SURPRISED BY MY HUBS N 2 LIL GIRLS WITH A BEAUTIFUL BIRDBATH, STEPPIN STONES, SQUIRREL FEEDER AND 3 BIRD FEEDERS.
I REALLY ENJOY MY GIFTS!!
THEY ENJOYED THE LOOK ON MY FACE neener luv
ALL THIS IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR BEDROOM WINDOW SO IN THE EARLY MORNINGS I GET TO SEE LOTS OF ACTION WITHOUT EVEN LEAVING MY BED!!
BUT WHAT IM GETTING TO IS THAT SINCE WE PUT IT ALL UP
NO ONE HAS VISITED!!
WHATS WRONG WITH THE PIC??
WHY NO BIRDS??
IS IT SOMETHING I SAID??

Stand upon the promises of God!!

Keep the bird bath clean and full of water and the feeders full and they will come. When we first moved here I was worried because I didn't hear any birds, but after a while they came to the feeders and come back every year now.

Byt the way, great presents and sounds like a good location. Maybe you can post a picture sometime.

Birds can take a while to first find a feeder but once they do they will always use it.
