Hi guys!

I must admit, I'm not too good at sticking around during the winter, am I?

I was very, very busy with school--I have one more semester to go before I'm a bona-fide English teacher! I had a busy, busy school year that I swear, I can't believe didn't kill me.

But I'm back, and I'm happy as a lark--summer is here!

I have started my spring out by getting ready for a fun-filled gardening season!

We rebuilt my grapevine trellis because the ugly vinyl one was falling apart, (we replaced it with cedar trellis), and I've worked hard on getting my garden ready for more planting!

I bought a (teeny-tiny) honeysuckle plant this year! I'm soooo excited!

I'll post some pictures of some of my new stuff after I've had a bit of a chance to look around!

I'm happy to be back--I've missed my gardenin' buddies!

Oh Mandy, don't feel bad.. I am kind of that way too.. I don't hang around much in the winter. But spring summer and fall I am usually around. I would love to see pictures of your grapevine trellis.. as I bought a grape vine this year and still need to build something for it to grow on.

Our grapevine is about 20 years old--our house is 25, so it could be that old or it could be younger. All I know is that I could burn that thing to the ground and it would come back absolutely huge each summer.

I am not sure how to reduce the size of my pictures on this site. Last summer, the moderators had to do if for me, so I'd rather figure it out before I post them, so the mods don't have to do it for me. LOL
