The leaves are turning brown and are dry. Any idea? I don't think it is a water problem, but I don't know...this is the first time I have planted them. I thought maybe I had too deep a mulch around them...is that possible? Also, the neighbors dog wandered down here and was peeing on everything so I wondered if maybe that did it? I hope they don't keel over!

Ooooh, doggie pee will do it for sure. It burns the plants.

if you know the dog has peed on them, water them to wash the pee off, it will dilute the pee and keep it from burning them.
