I have a new plant in my garden, a pineapple lily. This morning there were several birds attacking the foliage. Does anyone know why this would happen? I'm wondering if there is some insect they are after but I didn't see anything on the plant.
My guess would be you are right about insects, since birds don't eat plants. I grew them in pots a few years ago, but I can't say I ever had any trouble with birds attacking them!
