was CHOCK full of treasures for me today!!!
Thank you so much, Carol, for brightening my day and knowing just the right things to send along my way!!!

Firstly... Carol painted a really nice pot for me, and also sent along a plant - as I am "plants 'n pots"! How cool is that?!? The plant is an echiveria with a blue tinge to it, which Carol said she knew "belonged to me when she saw it"!
Thanks so much!!! I love it!


She also sent some beautifully packaged and divinely smelling foot salts that she made - it smells so refreshing and I can smell it up here from down in the kitchen - the entire house smells so fresh and clean! And a cute little turtle pot percher - something tells me that turtles are my thing of late, as Don got me one for the pond for Mother's day too! I'd love to see a real one by the pond sometime - just not the snapping ones that can be found around here!!!

Carol found the most touching card about friendship that I will treasure always.
And a crochet book that she wrote "hopes it helps me with stitches" - so thoughtful! And a pretty journal too. And a very helpful and colorful pot waterer that is a goldfinch just like that real ones I feed outside and love! And last but not least... she sent me, "the sock fairy", socks!!! These say "chocolate is my life" and the tag on it says "to do: 1. get up 2. go shopping 3. go to bed" Toooooooo funny!


But the really sweet thing is... and it really is "the small things in life that matter"... Carol has been here for me for many months now while I've been going through some difficult things here at home. She's been a wonderful listener, and a great advisor, and an all around much appreciated friend. She packed the box with some paper towels for padding, but carefully chose just the right towels!!!

Hey Lynne The foot salts really do smell great doesn't it,, now you see what I meant when I said I could smell it before I opened the box!
I love that Plant! Very cool she sent the one with the blue hue! She knows you well !! I'm glad she has been there for you these past few months,, it really helps to have someone to lean one! You've been a great friend to Lynne Carol, You'll be blessed!

I just had to show Carol's lovely planter all potted up!
Since it has bamboo all around it, I thought it needed some plant of the same style too -
jade fits the bill beautifully I think, don't you?
