I have a pretty bloom on my Hoya today

Ummmm... I'm no expert on hoya flowers, but it appears to me that you have something else in your pot of hoya that is blooming - not the hoya itself. Hoya flowers are in clusters of small flowers - usually pink, white, or near red. The leaves on the stem of the plant with your flower are also different from the hoya leaves. It looks like an entirely different plant is stuck in there.

Lynne is correct, pretty flower but not from a hoya. It looks like a sunflower to me.

Rosepetal - that IS gorgeous!

I hope one day, one of my 3 hoyas will eventually have a bloom - can't wait!

yep looks like a sunflower, maybe one of your seeds from feeding your birds fell in your hoya? ive had that happen a few times n wonderd what they were cause i didnt know sunflowers could grow small, lol beauitful hoya! it looks so full n healthy! :}

i have a little starter growin:}

i didnt even know they bloomed! cant wait for mine to grow

Your Hoya needs more light to get it to bloom,I have 11 differint ones. they well grow but won`t bloom if they don`t get light they need.. I hope this helps.

Well way back i thought my Hoya bloomed but this time I know it has lol just to show my new blooms on it [Linked Image] but none of my others have not yet. I wish they would but this one did

Very pretty blooms!

Still waiting for flowers on any of the three hoyas I got from members here.
I have nice sized pots from cuttings from Dianna, Diane, and Margaret E. Pell, but none has had a single bloom yet...

Well this one that has the blooms,iI had about a year and my other plant I have had for like 3 years nothing on it.I think this has boolmed cause It is
out in the heat and sun,I think that is what helped it.But all my Hoya's are out ther,So maybe I will get lucky with them too,Thank you Tamara glad you like them.I hope and you get some blooms too Plants n pots.
