Hi... I just purchased a wandering jew plant. It is now in my north window..Is that enough light? I had it outside but it gets afternoon sun,,(western exposure)...
Where is the best spot? I don't want to kill it...Its a cool plant.
Gosh I've grown hundreds of them over the years.....
Did you know that they are easily rooted? Heck you can just cut piece off and stick them in dirt and keep them well watered and they'll root...but I usually put the cuttings in a vase and let them root first.
I've had them in very low light conditions---which they will struggle and get leggy.....and I've had them outside in a lot of hot sun, the color really deepens when they are in sun.
I think it would be fine in your north facing window. Keep an eye on it, if it starts to look a little pale and not that great I'd get it outside.
Actually if you put it outside it will grow like crazy. I usually put mine out each summer but they get full morning sun and afternoon/pm shade.
