I am having the worst luck with my angel wing,I have had it for years and now its loosing leaves and looks horriable.Is there an age were I need to take cuttings and start over?

gramma always cut her's back and let it regrow in the spring.

Oh my gosh...I had one that barely made it thru the winter....it was almost just a stalk with some shriveled up leaves. I'm telling you it was REALLY bad.

Well I put it outside this spring in the shade and fed it some plant food a few times and it's thriving. Tons of new leaves are growing!

I think my light level inside was just too low.

I'd def. cut off all the dead parts and stick it outside in a mostly shady spot.....and feed it. thumbup

it never hurts to take cuttings. me, I can't seem to help myself. If I have a plant that roots well from cuttings - I'm a chopping!
I'd take a cutting or two from the healthiest parts and put in new soil. if the orginal plant makes it, cool. if not, you haven't lost your plant entirely.

Yep, my plant came from a cutting from my neighbors plant. It rooted so easily.
