Very nice, you gals will have to trade seeds to build up a large collection.

Thanks all!

I was reading up on it, and apparently it starts out a deeper orange and then "fades" to these colors when maturing.

This plant I got is actually VERY overgrown - got it at a local nursery that was a "mom and pop" and now is only an older mom who is not the greatest at growing things, so all of this particular plant were reaching waaaaaaaaay beyond their height to get to the window. But I got the best one there and it is healthy otherwise, so I'm hoping that after the flowers that are blooming on it are finished, I can cut it back to rejuvinate it.

Oh it is beautiful!!!!! Lynne I love it---- clap :ding: clap

I planted my "porch pot" last night before the storm--& found I need more plants--I think I will wait til I get my new flower bed done--so it I need more flowers for there as well_i will do it all at once--

this is pertanant because I will most likley go get the oranges & lemons & the burgundy then as well.

otherwise--I may just wait & beg seeds from you as Tamara suggesteed why

Thanks Carol - couldn't wait to show you, since we've been talking about it!

If you plant some in your pots will they overwinter safely in them there?

My first gaillardia Fanfare blooms opened yesterday and I am thrilled with them!!! They look exactly like the pictures Carol and I saw online a few weeks ago when we thought we just had to have that plant!

Again... early morning light so it was very bright...

Still they look very nice Diane----so what if they a bit different---like I say still very nice--- thumbup

I still wonder if it might have to do with the flower reverting back to the parent plants--- why

WOW Diane - that's a really nice one - good picking!!!

I got 2 more fanfares at Home Depot yesterday - they were a bit wilted, but 3$ less than I paid at the perennial nursery a month ago, so I grabbed 2 - the nice thing about Home Depot is that you can return plants there. They have perked up today, so I will hopefully plant them tomorrow morning.
