Help! My gladiolas are leaning over. It is much harder to see them. Is there anything I can do?

Hi Ya Ziggy My glads' have always done that,, boohoo Next year as they begin to come up I'm going to put a tomato cage over them so as they grow they'll be supported. in the mean time I drive a couple of tall wooden stakes in the ground and tie them back with the green plastic plant training "ribbon"~ it comes in a roll and it's about an inch wide , walmart, target home depot places like that have it,, I also use it on my rambler/climbing roses to train to go the direction I want them to,, you can use about anything to tie them to the stakes with, even fishing line provided you don't tie it too tight , as fishing line will cut into the stocks, egad so be careful if you use it,

I have some taller decorative cheap fencing pieces...the kind that come in a pack....well I put them in front of the gladiolas each year to keep the stalk from getting flattened to the ground. Heavy rains and wind, and just the weight of the flower will do that.

Let me see if I can find a picture. This if from last year...you can see them on the left with the fencing stuff in front of them.
