My broccoli are approx 4 weeks old, they have tall thin heads. Is this a problem? The same thing happened last year. Too much fertilizer or too little?
What might the problem be?

Try broccolini or broccoli rabe. idea They shouldn't be affected by a broccoli problem. (I mean either buy or grow these things instead of head broccoli.)

Reel, don't throw out your broccoli, just plant them a little deeper into your soil or create mounds around the plants. I've had this before and this is what I did and I had broccoli. Give it a try it can't hurt. thumbup
