Hi, my name is Sharon, gardening has become my passion. Yes, I am addicted. I am an artist and have a small house/piece of land in the middle of 102 acres of maple forest, this is my second summer here. Before I moved here, my place was used as a workshop, so all the cleared land was either gravel or uncared for, and the only flower showing was "coltsfoot", a weed. I'm changing it all to my own little paradise and am having so much FUN. Because of the forest, most of the area is compost, and everything I've stuck in the ground is growing nicely. Am learning so much! Thanks for this forum, I have a feeling I am about to learn a lot more. :-)
WOW!!! I just went through your pics! You are very talented and your house in the woods looks like a perfect setup for you.
Thanks for rescuing the cats and dog, they look so happy and loved.
WOW, still browsing through your beautiful paintings! I'm showing the kids your horse pics and kids' furniture and your cats and dogs and they are loving it!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm not sure how this forum works, if I am writing to one person or a reply to all. Will find out after I send it I guess! Meanwhile, I am working on building my pond. I laid out the lining yesterday, putting old carpeting underneath to protect the liner. The pond is aprox. 12x4', and 4 feet deep in the deepest part. It has a leak. It only fills to about 3 feet. Sigh. I'm alone on this project, so am a little frustrated. I'm worried about how I'm going to find and fix the leak. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks again, Sharon
