I am already thinking about fall crops and buying more seed. What do you plant for fall?
I am thinking more beans and peas, rutabaga, more broccoli and some cauliflower, kale and red cabbage. I will also keep my lettuces and pak choy and stuff going.

Also what is the deal with brussel sprouts. whyIt says to plant them early while it is cool. But then it says to wait to eat them until after the frost. But they only take around 3 months. So if you planted them in spring they wouldn't make it to frost? Don't you need to plant them in June/July to give you 3 months until mid September and early frosts? I was thinking about getting just a few plants I saw and trying them. Hub doesn't eat them (and a lot of other stuff I grow for that matter!)

This "fall" (August), I'm going to be planting A cool weather tomatoe, restarting my lettuce and... um... brussel sprouts. We don't freeze until the end of November/begining of December.
