It's now official, my younger brother proposed to his girlfriend and, of course, she said yes! They haven't set a date yet, they've only been engaged for two days, LOL. I'm excited for them and just thought I'd share my happy news!

Thanks, I'm excited for them. Now I just have to get back on track with my diet again, and exercising (ugh) so I'll be able to wear a dress. It feels strange having my brother be so grown up and responsible but I'll get used to it. It'll feel even stranger to be in a dress with make up and my hair done.

will there be pictures?? (of you I mean???)--although pictures of your DB & his new wife would certainly be welcome.

Of course there will be pictures. I just don't know when yet but I'll keep you updated.

I got married at 23...many think that's too young nowadays, but I knew I was ready for it. I'm a nester.

It's really super that you'll have a sister in law---I don't have one yet from my family....waiting for my brother to eventually pop the question to his girlfriend. Have a SIL though from Mark....but we rarely see each other.

My brother is 25, he'll be 26 in august. His fiancé just turned 30 today. Funny that he's marrying someone closer to my age but they're happy.

I'm short but that doesn't mean I'm tiny. I stopped eating good and have fallen back into the overweight range for my height and bone structure. I've lost weight and shaped up before, I can do it again. Plus now I have incentive.
