THIS IS ARE SECOND YEAR OF FINDING THEM IN OUR GARAGE AND WE KEEP THEM FOR ABOUT 20 MINS AND VISIT WITH THEM THEN SET THE FREE,I JUST LOVE THEM AND ON THIS DAY WE HAD TWO WE GOT OUT OF GARAGE THE KIDS FIND THEM IN THERE

THEY SOME HOW GET IN OUR LIL HOUSE NEXT DOOR AND THE KID'S FIND THEM IN THERE
AND THEY JUST PICK THEM UP AND BRING THEM IN THE HOUSE AND SHOW ME SO
WE TAKE PICS AND VISIT WITH THEM FOR A BIT THEN LET THEM GO.LAST YEAR WE HAD SOME TOO AND WE GOT A STRAW LIKE WHAT YOU DRINK OUT OF AND WE PUT HUMMER FOOD IN IT AND THEY DRANK FROM THE STRAW AND I HAVE PIC'S OF THAT TOO .I JUST LOVE THEM HUMMER'S ALOT AND I VIDEO TAPE THEM TOO

They were in our garage,and the kids found them
and they came in the house with them,so we
took pics and enjoyed them for a bit then
we turn them lose again

That is way cool. My daughter had one in her gargage so her husband picked him up.

I have not seen but one hummer all summer, I know they are here because my feeder gets empty...just missing them I guess

Mine are on the north side of the house.....they appear all day here.
My sis has hers in a south end location, hanging near the carport and gets some shade........She has lots also.
She has 5 feeders of all types in the yard.

Wow - why are they laying on their side like that in your pictures? Are they ok?

Belinda - the best time to see the hummers is either at dawn or dusk - they tank up for the night, and then fill up again when the sun rises. I always see mine then, as well as several times a day. But you can be sure to see them at those 2 times.

Yes they were alright it was on it side because
it was caught in side our garage and it is very hot
inside it so after we brought it in the house under ac
it took a few mins it perked right up.I love hummers and I have about
6 feeders up for them too,they come all day long greedy little bird's
and they fight for the feeders which don't make no since have alot of feeders but they do chase each other off it is funny to watch.
