Looks to me like wrens - the one bird whose call I just cannot stand. As a matter of fact... there is a male wren here this summer again - I thought one would drive me to drink 2 summers ago - he has a very distinct and LOUD call and it's from 4:30 a.m. til dark - over and over and over and over - this morning was unbearable - I just cannot go through another summer like that!
Sorry for the rant - that birdcall just is like nails on a chalkboard to me!!!

I am so sorry for that, I hope he stops making all his 'racket' soon.---why do you think he 'calls' all day???--is there a problem with him??/

are there other wrens around? is she looking for company? we have a parakeet I put out on the porch some mornings and evenings when the weather is nice. she has learned the wren call. and one day (could have been a coincidence) but she kept doing that wren song so long it drove me into the house. I looked out the window later and there was a wren on the porch about 10 feet from her talking back to her!

I love finding nests and bird eggs. That's a beautiful nest Phobee built.
Plants n pots, a couple of years ago my daughter had a bird, we never did see him, that started at dusk and sang all night long for months. It was horrible. She couldn't sleep. She started sleeping with a fan on to try and drown him out. One night she heard what sounded like gun shots and she's never heard that bird again.
