Hi,

We just planted tomatoes near our border of petunias and then we got to wondering...

1. Is this safe as far as eating the tomatoes goes?
2. Are them some flowers that we shouldn't plant near the tomatoes because the roots may be too close together and the fruit may be toxic?

I think they will be fine. most flowers are fine around veggies. just checked my companion chart - it says tomato dislikes are kohlrabi and potato

Hi...I plant all different veggies in all my different flower beds...it's all good.

I plant my tomatoes and other veggies amoung my flowers too
