Got them this morning . . . white morning glories, purple coneflower and white sage salvia.

The morning glories arrived just in time - I got a few seeds yesterday and didn't see the MG's on the rack - three of mine have popped in the patch from last year - I'll poke these in with them.

There are 3 plants that I bought the other day - their tags tell me nothing, other than there's two blues that look like petunias (don't think so - they're perennials - vivace) and the one I've put between them is white flowers.

It's cold and damp here this morning - rain this afternoon but one way or the other, I'll be out there today.

Thanks again, Junie Girl.

Oh . . . and, btw, the post it note is darling - a frog . . . so cute.

Carly :-)

I put them in late this afternoon - all pray to the goddess of morning glories.

(My friend just told me that the blue ones are psychedelic . . . at one time you could only buy one pack at a time.

Ha ha! Guess I won't be getting stoned - I don't see any of the blue ones coming up this year - maybe later this month.

Gotta' figure where to put that.

I don't mind having all-white MG's.

We've got a heat wave today and tomorrow. Thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday. So the watering will get done.

You don't happen to have any pictures of the bush the salvia seeds came from?

Carly, here is a picture of my salvia bush--and you are to cut it down in the fall I think it is so you never really have to worry aobut it getting much bigger than you see in this picture.--

I don't think it will get much more than 2 feet wide.--At least mine has not.

That on the ground on the left side?? it must be a stem that got weighed down----if you in your mind remove the horizontal piece there----you will get a sense of the size of the bush.

I put the red salvia in tonight - dug out at the foot of the tree (on the far slope where there's lotsa' sun) - put the salvia in one side and some wildflower seed in the other.

I dunno' about the wildflower seed - they were 3/$100 . . . you know how it is with old seed you get from the dollar store - still, I like to try it.

This first picture is dark - took it a little late - there's lotsa' seed on that ground there - raked over it and spread it more evenly.

And the second is a closeup of the little plots I dug for the two lots of seeds.
