We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Hey All! Thanks for the welcome back!
I missed the forum very much. I have had a few twists and turns in my life, some for the better, some not so good, but all keeping me quite busy non the less. I look forward to seeing all your posts, and getting used to the new layout. (I had a private message that was sitting in my inbox for a week and did not realize it was there!) Things are not totally settled down yet, and I may still have a few short absences in the future, but once they happen things should calm down greatly.

Hope all your gardens are green and bug free!

Mike

Hi Doc,

It is really good to see you. I look forward to hearing all about what's going on with you. I moved so I'm really doing some gardening now. My front yard is 100 feet long all by it's self.

BTW my EPI spent the night in the car and it got cold so now it has brown spots on it's new leaves/branches(?) do you think it will make it? Is there anything I can do to help it along?

Hey TK Thanks!
But I have to ask...How cold did it get in Virgina??? Heck I am up here in Cheese Land and it has not been that cold in quite some time! Are you sure the cold did it, or did the car possibly get too hot during the day? Either which way, it should be fine as long as it didn't freeze, or totally burn out. Just give it a drink and keep it in bright but not direct sunlight for a few weeks to allow it to recover. You may loose some of the more damaged leaves, but it should be okay.

Catch you later
Must get to work now

Mike

Thanks for the info Doc, It got down into the fiftys overnight. and was down right cold that morning. I had to run with all the windows open because I couldn't close the hatchback. Do you think the carbon monoxide got it? All of the rest of the plants did real good. Well except for one African Violet that got left outside for several days. That one I cut the brown leaves off of and am hoping for the best. It hasn't died yet but the leaves are very droopy.

Have a great day at work.

I doubt any carbon monoxide would have bothered your plant. It would have actually made it healthier I think, as it takes in the gas and changes it to CO2 which helps the plant preform photosynthesis and then releases oxygen back out into the atmosphere.
