WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dodge no color in the crayon world can compete with those flowers. I especially love the canterybury ones. I've never seen them before.
Kindness is a language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
Canterbury bells are a biennial easily grown from seeds. You have a small plant the first year and the second year they rocket up to about 3-4 foot tall and bloom like crazy. They come in white, pink and purple tones. And a variety with another, flattened 'petal' called cup and saucer. They have a pretty long bloom season then go to seed and die. The seeds are easy to grow. I'll go see if I have pics of some of mine.

dodge that canterbury is beautiful. Do you have several? Can I see a picture of just that or them. How tall do they get? Did you plant from seeds?
Best of four
First time I planted them....From seed ......I might have white one .. NOt in bloom yet..... First timer here.. That is the first year one from seed......Whatever biannual means.
Jiffy, these are campanula medium, (canterbury bells) and the pic is the cup-and-saucer variety, calycanthema. I like them because they put on a splash of color in high summer heat when everything else has faded out.
