what does the leaves look like on number one? the bloom looks a bit like some kind of begonia, maybe.

Hmmm.. I'm not sure if #2 is Blood lily because it grows on trees. Those are its leaves in the photo. Thanks for the help though. :wink:

Yea, it could be Begonia. Some have suggested the same too.. But unfortunately I didn't include the leaves in the photo.. Didn't occur to me at that time that it would help in identification. But what appears at the base of the photo are the leaves. From what I can remember, the leaves are really broad, somewhat irregular in shape, and were somewhat greenish red in color. Does that help? Hope it does..
