The new house has a space that is difficult to fill. Lets see if I can explain. The livingroom flows directly into a breakfast bar but the space continues back to a wall. So I have 56 inches by 70 inches of blank wall that doesn't really fit with the breakfast bar or the livingroom.

So I was thinking of an indoor garden and water feature there. But I can't quite figure out how to go about it. I know I'll need hidden lighting added in amongst the plants because it is in a dark corner to begin with.

And that's about as far as I've been able to figure. I'd love some suggestions.

Should I go floor to ceiling about 12 feet in that area. Or should I try to put it on a table?

I'd like a waterfall type appearance but how could I go about it without bringing in loads of rocks that would probably colapse the floor?

thanks for all your suggestions in advance.

well you could always just put in a stair like planter and set various types of plants on it.--- then for the wall above the plants--you could find a pretty picture of a waterfall or of a garden.--and as far a lighting you could put up a short floressant light on the ceiling OR below the picture.

thankyou for the suggestions Juniegirl. I appreciate them very much. sometimes I just can't figure things out.

I got turned down for a home equity line of credit so this project is on hold for a good long time. So many other things to do.
