I have planted strawberries many times BUT last year was the first time I had put them in a pot,, I just figured they would die out over the winter I didn't cover the pot or anything ( actually I wanted to use the pot for something else) But when I got ready to use the pot I noticed Green from last years strawberries and so I left it alone other than watering it after discovering the Green,, And ...nope I don't remember the name of the strawberry I planted But Look, I'm already getting strawberries!!!!!!
Does this all depend on the type of strawberries I planted last year???

Looks good !
If you still want the pot for something else, go ahead-strawberries transplant well. I do it all the time.
Just keep them well watered the first few weeks. They probably won't even slow down-mine don't.
And of course you know to plant strawberries with the crown above the soil.
Just a guess but those look like Sequoias to me.

Strawberries are perennial plants. How many and how often you get them depends on the type. Very nice.

I've overwintered them here in a pot and it get's below -40*C here over the winter.

Yup, you cut off and throw away the runners they send out for three years, in the fourth year you leave the runners re root then throw away the momma plants and re transplant the babies from the runners.

Never ending strawberries.

And remember, to water good when they are fruiting up..
*strawberries need water*
But don't drowned them or let them stand in water,
but a gooooood watering everytime..
