We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Good questions Merme! Good thinking Carol! Interesting answer Tamara! But nooooooooo!
Here he is... meet Gnomey! Made for Amy to take to college with her next fall - she chose the colors and I really like them - I think he looks very woodsy - PERFECT for going to a city school, right?!?
Thanks Carol and Tina - the second time around always goes so much easier, you know? I do like making the same items in different colors than the first or previous time - it makes it interesting to see how they are going to turn out.
Thanks for all your kinds words Dodge, Jiffy and Tamara!
I have another small silly project I finished up yesterday and will post a picture once I sew some eyes on it.
Right now I'm knittin a sundress for my cousin's first grandaughter in Israel - she was born last July and I never got out the knit baby gift to her (my bad!!!), so now I'm making something else for her first birthday.
Ok, so moving right along now... (no harm done, Diane! )
This is what one knits when one doesn't have a particular project in mind... I started this before Amy requested her gnome, and finished it the same day I finished Gnomey.
Well Carol and Don both said it looks like a tooth! Don actually said... "that's grass???" Carol said I should make it in white with a pocket - great idea! Upside down of course!
