I was so suprised when I walked out to the car this morning and right in front of where I park was a berry cane. I'm not sure of the type, blackberry or raspberry or whatever. But it's one less plant that I have to buy. Of course I'll have to transplant it where I want it. By my car is not where I want those thorny little devils. But street side beside the trees is going to be a great location for them.

TK That is great!!! I had jsut about the same experience.

---when we moved I did not bring any of my blackberry canes---& thus was sad. I had since mail-ordered some but lost them---well today at my sisters I saw my BIL's Blackberries & was reminded that he got his first starts from me----so I ask him for some starts/plants---of course he said yes---so I may wait unitl fall or spring but not only will I get some blakberry plants started here, they will tecnically be mine.

Gee I please easy !!! clap
