Anyone have any shrimp recipes to share? Recipes for a main dish or an appetizer or salad, it doesn't matter. Just.... how do you enjoy shrimp?

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I don't think there is a bad way to fix shrimp. I love shrimp anyway but raw.
sometimes we boil it in crawfish boil seasoning. sometimes we bread and fry. sometimes marinate in italian dressing or coctail sauce and put on a shishkabob with veggies on the grill.

I love shrimp any way at all. But especially sauted in a sweet white sauce with mozzerella cheese and stuffed inside a pizza crust closed up. I add other seafood as well....seafood panzerotti's are delicious.

I also pan fry it with butter and garlic and mix it in with angel hair pasta. I cook my pasta in chicken stock instead of water for flavour.

Also skewered on kebabs with a glaze made with thickened pineapple and chili flakes. served over rice.

I could go on forever lol Did I mention I love seafood? grin

haha!! was just talking about a shrimp thing that i do at the graduation party today!!

i add shrimp to the baked ziti for 'something different'

campbell's cream of shrimp soup has a recipe for 'shrimp newburg' VERY easy to make!! absolutely delicious, too!! i make it and serve over rice - you can use pasta or mashed potatoes if you prefer.

they rotate the recipe's on the label, so you have search for it. if i remember correctly (haven't made it in a while), it's one can of the soup, 1 cup of light cream - combine and heat in a double boiler (that keeps it from overcooking and sticking to the pot) and add in, oh shoot! can't remember if it's a 1/2 pound or a pound of the cooked shrimp! keep cooking until the shrimp are heated through. i also put in some sherry (adds flavor). i've also added a mix of shrimp and lobster. if i don't have the funds to splurge on lobster, i get monk fish - has the same texture and taste as lobster when it's in the sauce and it's much cheaper. just bake the fish at 325 until just about done (test with a fork for flaking) and then slice into bite size pieces and add to the sauce while it's on the heat and it'll finish cooking in a minute or so.

you can add shrimp to cold macaroni salad - either the regular sized that you cut into small pieces or use the canned 'baby' shrimp.
