What a nice surprise this morning to find this wonderful story!!!
I just love it!!! As I do ALL of your stories!! :ding:
I hope Mari-Gold stays a loooooong time, and I hope Ringer keeps 'hanging' around too. Maybe he can serve the Village, like a rooster, and ring the chimes every morning at sunrise!!!
Thanks,---And yes,I'm still reading them AND still waitng for my binder full of the whole bunch of thestories---or a book--either way works for me---

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
i think a lot more read than post. but yes, i am still reading. and carol jean. diane and i have had the book/binder conversation, and the first edition may be available soon. i have to collaborate with diane just a bit longer on it.
I love that windchime and the fact that he is holding his ears - tooooo cute! And Mari-Gold found the perfect spot for her visit!
Is the tree that Ringer is hanging in a Crepe Myrtle? The flowers are so pretty! I tried to grow 2 of them here (very expensive here too I might add!) but they just could not overwinter in my yard.
Thanks Lynne! Yep It's a crepe Myrtle I have 6-7 in my yard total, white .pink and purple the purple and white haven't bloomed yet,, I pruned a little late this year,, so blooming is later,

Diane, I just wanted you to know how much I am looking forward to new stories!! I know it will take awhile.....just wanted you to know I'm checking the topic from time to time!!
Well I had intention of writing about something really special that has happened recently , but GrandPooBah had taken ill while I was gone to Washington. He's better now,, much better but still weak. Matter of fact pictures were already taken of the event tho GrandPooBah was still ill thru it all and even looked pale but don't worry he will be fine now  the delay is,,, He placed One Hand Runn'in Willy in charge until he's totally up to it, ( and you know what that means,, something is bound to get broken or some kind of mishap,} so , I just kinda sorta' wanna keep an eye on him and the village for a few more days, Thanks for the interest and being patient.

Carol everything is going good,, One hand keeps asking me questions instead of bothering GrandpooBah, He wants to fix Mystics Fence seems Emmy trampled it bad, I told him Mystic doesn't really need it any more she is fine and doesn't wonder off anymore so just let her have her freedom,, she knows where she gets her meals,, she can be trusted ,, ** Shirls now he set the stage for that didn't he?? but this past year I do have to admit he has done quite well and seems to have started to think before he reacts, I don't think he had a mishap for quite a long time,, well except when I took him to work with me with T willy,, yepppp He's done good,, but like bragging about your child ,, everything is good until you start bragging about them,, I love to tease One Hand,, and he understands it with Humor,, so it's all good.,

Grand PooBah is feeling really good today,, He relieved Onehand of his duties today and was back to his normal routine,, watching some of the workers,, making sure no one fell off the rock tower while removing smaller rocks.
