Bats are MUCH better insect eaters than birds. They eat some 1,000,000 mosquitoes a night......PER BAT!!! I have Bat House plans too. Each Bat House can hold up to 100 bats. So put up a Bat House and you will get rid of 100,000,000 mosquitoes PER HOUSE, PER NIGHT!!!

Canon s5......How do you shoot in the dark ? I tried and no success.
Also in a dim light how do we shoot..What settings/
I tried last nite, an the camera dont click on flash in the dark.??

The S5 should have a pop-up flash on top. Just to the left of it on top is a crooked arrow icon that looks like a lightning bolt. Push that button, and your flash will pop up. check the owners manual or check the online manual at canon.com.

Wrong question...I know all that about the flash......

I mean the camera doesnt snap at all in the dark.......Or half dark.
Press the shutter an nothing happens.

Not sure I am saying this correct..

Gosh, I don't know, Dodge. Check your owner's manual about taking flash pictures.

I just read on line, someone said it isn't a nite time camera..Daytime.??

On the manuals box, click on the next to the last one. It should pull up an online user manual for the S5 that you can read online or download to your computer. Page 15 of the manual has the information on how to set up and use the flash for nighttime photography.

Your in Zoom mode......Take it back to normal.....
Then try arrows.

When you enlarge the photos, you have to go back to normal to get it to move with the arrows.......

I tweak and enhance my photos in Photoshop to sharpen the focus and bring out the best lighting and colors.
