Hello everyone !! I just started canning this year on my own, and wanted to join a forum to learn and ask questions.
I picked 40 pounds of strawberries and made my own jam .. I cannot believe how fabulous it turned out. Way better than any store bought I ever tried. I want to can everything now. LOL
I'd like to make dill pickles next, so any thoughts on very cruncky dill recipes would be awesome.
I'm glad to be here. :o)

I love making jelly. and you are right--it is the best!!!--but no pickle making here---I usually freeze everything else I 'put up'.

although I wll say my mom used to make a mean bread & butter pickle--for sure.
