My jade is getting really tall, but it's not branching out, how can I get it to stop growing up and fill out?

it won't branch unless it is cut. you can prune it, cutting the top off and it will branch. and if you let the top dry a few days then poke in it the soil in the same pot, you will have 2 plants.

my jade plant is branching everywhere and getting too heavy to hold itself up. The top has drooped over. The plant looks very healthy. It is planted outside. How do I slow it down. Do I cut off all the lower branchs?
