Hi again,
Was a quick trip - they only had the one scrip at least it was the one I was out of... found some beach towels too . and bribed them with choc chip cookies... free from the bakery- they were good boys ....
Cricket our Timba started the chicken with handles , asked him when he was a bout 2 1/2 which piece of chicken he wanted and he said he only liked it with handles... become part of the family language now- he is now 7 and such a big kid... he is reading to the other two right now... they love to be read too and is keeping his new skills up too....
Well off to change the load and hang out the first one- laundry a never ending story........LOL!

Tamara & Cricket ~ Don't feel bad... Maine is getting all your rain! We've been in a very heavy downpour all afternoon.


Maxi did manage to swim at the beach and play with his new Boogie Board for a while before it all started, though.

My girl didn't come today at all. When I got home from dialysis there was a message from her boss. The girl "forgot" today was Monday! She "thought" it was Tuesday!

Uh-huh.

So our big pot of chicken, noodle, vegetable homemade soup is nearly ready and we are starving for some!

Morning, we did get rain overnight again....

Good Morning---we did not get any rain but I think we were supposed to.---But then it seems we are always 'supposed to' get rain, anymore.


i am wishing we could save up some of this wet stuff for July & August so we would not have to water so much.----

Well, I need to finish up the housework and try get my veggie plot weeded at least today. between the rain and the flies...it's a battle,.

Hoping you're o.k. Kenny, I've seen the news of the funnel clouds in your city, horrifying to think what damage that would have caused if it would of touched in the city of Toronto.

Hi everyone ~

I only have a few minutes because we are in the middle of a busy day. My girl FINALLY came (a day late and 1 1/2 hours behind schedule) and I also had a big appointment here at the house. Now I am scrambling to get Maxi packed up so he can go to his dad's for a few days AND he has an appointment with his pediatrician this afternoon. Time for the physical for his camp adventure.

I'll stop back in when I get home later.

Hi Merme, in for a few while I throw supper in the oven.

It's trying hard to start up a a thunderstorm out there.

We had some pretty wild storms here today. At one point, when we were on the turnpike heading toward Portland, Maxi thought he saw a Funnel Cloud. It wasn't one, but he said "We are all going to die!" The tone of his voice made me chuckle, though I hastened to assure him it wasn't what he thought!

He is at his dad's now until late Friday afternoon. This gives me a few days to pack him up for camp without him being underfoot and then we'll have a very nice time together before he leaves.

I'm off now because it has been a long, exhausting day. I need some hot tea. I wish Weezie was here to have some Red rose with me.

Sorry I've been a little MIA, my niece has been here but she leaves tomorrow. She's up in bed now, wore her out earlier with a nice long swimming session.

She said earlier, I love your house the best because we always do stuff together. :ding: I'm still cool, for now.

That is cool, Loz. I bet that made you feel all warm and fuzzy. And I bet you are almost as exhausted as she is.

Morning, coffee is on and there's fresh blueberry muffins for breakfast. You'll need an extra spoonful of sugar though, the blueberries are sour.....I hate store bought berries.

Well, I am off to get an early start...I want to spend as much time outside today on chores as I can.

I'll also take some pics to show later.....

We still have storms in our area although it isn't raining here at the moment. My girl just left to run important errands.

I didn't feel well when I first got up this morning, so I went back to bed. That extra hour of sleep, having breakfast and a nice coffee helped me tremendously. Now I'm ready for the rest of the day.

I miss Maxi, though. It is hard when he isn't around. His dad took all the boys on an outing to the state park beach and I know they are having a blast running around that old fort and all.

morning all. I'll be doing inside stuff today. I got all my watering done yesterday, theres nothing really to mow, lots of weeds to be pulled but guess what i'm NOT doing today. he he
theres lots and lots of laundry!

The very nicest thing about laundry is the fact that in between switching machines and folding, I can come in here and hang out with my imaginary friends. I have some outside work to do though. While it is 'cool'. Going to only hit low 90's today. We don't have many more lows like that for a while.

Anyone wanna come over for supper? DD and DH both have to work late and will grab supper where they are. I have lots cooked... I hate it when this happens.

I know all of you are real. It is just easier to lump everyone I haven't met in person into a category when I am talking about you. Imaginary sounds more fun than internet friends.

Good morning, coffee is on. Rain for today which is good, I need to rest a bit.

Good Morning all---overcast here today--I think it is suppopsed to rain here too.--I wish I felt better, I really need to go out & extend my landscaping so it reaches to in front of the new dog pen--and it is more fun to do it in the cool weather than it is to do it in the hot weather, right???

Oh well---I have a book that begs to be read--perhpas today is the day for it----

well I could not stand it that some of my landscaping bricks needed moved into place--so I did that--and I had just enough extra to extend my rock how I waned them.--But i really need to rest---so I am stopping there.--I need whatever this is to go away ASAP.

You know what I think my iron pills were making me sick, I stopped taking them 4 days ago and feel like a new person again. To the garbage they went.

not if I get to you first with the duct tape---

about the iron pills--the yare one of the vitamins that can build up in your system.--I too have recently stopped taking a vitamin supplement---
--I think my vitamin B complex was giving me horrid gas pains---I stopped them & soon that problem went away too.--never had that problem with the B complex before--but this was a new brand----

At any rate--Good for us!!!!
