A couple of months ago, during an eye check-up, my doctor informed me that my upper eyelids were sagging to the point that my vision was already impaired and would get much worse with time, so an eyelid lift would be medically necessary. Welp, I had the surgery yesterday. The surgery went great, but typically, for one to two weeks after this type of surgery, you look like the main charascter in a horror film. Here's what I mean......

Yes! I have aMUC larger field of view already. I wonder how many fantastic shots of birds I missed due to this condition.

Thorny, follow all directions and take it easy. You are going to be a good looking hunk of man when all of it heals. You bird and bunny friends won't recognize you.

So how ya doing now a few days later??

I'm doing great now although I'm sporting a Panda/Raccoon/Ferret/Goth/Edward Scissorhands look at this time with all the dark bruising around my eyes. Some swelling, but the soreness is gone and my vision is fine and I'm taking pictures again.
