My lawn is wet in the morning and it is raining everyday in the afternoon. And I think I heard somewhere that I wasn't suppose to cut during the heat of the day. Can anyone help me out on what I should do...other than watch it grow lol.

Thanks for your help.

Don't cut wet grass with an electric mower Tammy.....it's very dangerous.

~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.

im thinking it would be better to cut in the heat of the day rather than let it grow too tall and cut most of it off. ive read that its not too good to cut more
then a third of its length off. i know what your going thru,i really have to just get out there when i can and cut it whether its too soon or too late.
i tend to get out a little sooner then later as if i let it get too tall,i have to bag it or put up with dried clumps of dead grass all over the place.
by cutting it sooner rather than later i can avoid bagging it and my mower will mulch it down just fine.

Thankyou for the information. I'll have to bite the bullet and do it even if it is sweat city out there.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

The pictures didn't turn out. That's a suprise isn't it? I'm no good with a camera.

I finished cutting the front yard this morning. My arms are still recovering. It is suprising how heavy 4 1/2 pounds becomes after an hour.

Monday and Tuesday I have reserved for cutting the back yard.

As I was cutting it today I noticed that there are a mixture of grasses in the lawn as well as every naturalized weed common to my area. Anyone an expert on grass types?

Not this fall but the one following I'll be putting down grass seed. This year I'm buying tires one per month for the next 3 months.
