We have an outdoor Ivy plant that we recently started to prune and pull the weeds out of it. It has a real foul smell and I am worried because our cat sleeps in it and plays in it. Is there anything that would be causing this smell? The cat has slept in it for years but this is the first year we have noticed the smell. Please help if you can.

This is just a guess but....You might want to see if your kitty buried a little present, like a dead bird or mouse under the soil.

Or the cat could have decided that he found a new 'bathroom'....
