I leave for a student exchange this saturday and I still haven't done packing (I know...procrastination when it comes to packing isn't the best) but just wondering, can you think of anything that I might need? So far I have (trying to keep it light): Clothes and towels (a week's worth) Tickets ID Phrasebook Camera Phone+Charger Flipflops (for the showers) Maps Deorderant/Tooth paste+brush

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
Maybe a gift for the people you are staying with, if you are staying with a family.
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, it's inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." by Winston Churchill
Where are you staying exactly again Kenny, I know you said but I can't remember.
Good idea from Glenda to take a gift for the family, that would be nice. Maybe a nice photo frame or a candle or something like that. A plant would be nice but I don't think you could pack a plant. Maybe make the mother a collection of seeds to take in case she has a garden. That way she can always remember your visit there.
good ideas, I would've forgotten about the batteries
I'm staying in a dorm so hopefully they have AC or something similar (I heard it's one of the newer dorms). I wanted to stay with a family, but then I'd have to bus to the college every day and it would've been too 'annoying'. I don't think I'm going to be swimming there, and it's been ages since I've been in swimming shorts or in a pool I'll hopefully be able to collect some seeds there to bring back home as a souvenir
