I have seen many pictures and have read countless reports about these, but until today had NEVER seen one in person. This evening this sweety showed up at my feeders and nervously waited its turn to get a seed. At this stage you cannot tell if it is a male or a female. This Fall or next spring it will get its adult colors and the mystery will be solved.
