I was hoping someone would tell me how that little fellow sat on that limb when it was raining so hard and the wind was blowing so hard that I could barely hold the screen door open to take the picture.

 Hiya Hubby say when a bird lands on a limb or wire etc. and sets its but down, the legs lock and they wont't fall off at all...... I notice the crazy lil fellows eat in the rain also ...My feeder. Ha ha

yep i have noticed that too at my feeder, barb---the Hummingbirds seem not to care what the weather is--if they are hungry they are there. rain or shine.

They are nasty lil fellows.......Rednecker keeps chasing the females away from the feeders......He calls it protection.....Protecting his share..LOL  Tipical male......Ha THorn???

That high wind blew over my 5 burner gas grill but this little bugger hung on without any apparant difficulty.
