I have a Coreopsis plant that I put by my pond last year when we put it in and this year, there were several baby starts of it nearby.. I dug each one up and put them in their own pot. They are all doing quite well, growing and very healthy. But there is not a single bud or bloom on any of them. I have 4 of them left, as I have given a few away.

Just wondering why no blooms? Does it not bloom the first year? Or maybe it can't be propagated by seed? Curious to see what you guys have to say.

It's probably still too small yet for blooms.
