I'm loving this new garden. So far this year I've harvested Columbine Double Blossom Blush, Gladiolus 5 ft tall and puple and white in color. Although I understand they don't come true to color from seed. And today I got a load of orange portulaca. Why am I confident that they are orange you ask? Well because the entire group of plants I brought are all orange. Isn't that a kick? I wonder what the odds are. I'm thinking maybe orange is a dominant color for portulaca. Anyway tell me what all you have managed to collect.

I had no luck with my hosta that flowered. It didn't make one pod. But then it is still kind of small so maybe next year.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

I have to get some chives in the pot. I really do. I love them in so many things and I can't keep the dried ones in the house. So why haven't I planted some yet? Just slow I guess. I have to get some parsley in the a pot too. In fact most of my herbs need to be started. They won't mind a late start from what I understand. I just have to get up and at it.

You can tell I'm having a hard time motivating myself today can't you?
