Here is a picture of a male Eastern Towhee I took this morning about 200 yards from my house. This is the FIRST time I have ever gotten a picture of this species, so it was a Camera Bird for me today. There are tons of these birds in this area as well as Indigo Buntings, Eastern bluebirds, Chipping Sparrows, House Wrens, Eastern Kingbirds, and Eastern Phoebes. It is on the grounds of a Methodist Church that has about 10-20 acres of mixed habitat making it an EXCELLENT place to observe and photograph birds......And I can walk there in 3 minutes!!!

That's a beautiful picture. We have a Rufous-sided Towhee that visits us but he's not nearly as pretty - no red wing on ours.
