You have to let the seed dry . They appear in a circle like a tire......... I will show you a photo when mine turn to a good seed, so you can see. There are many in a circle in slics . Easy. Keep asking me.

You plant them like any other seed, just below the soil and water. The first year you get foilage, the second year you get blooms. They are biennial. They reseed themselves.

it takes 7-21 days for the seed to germanate, then the 1st year all you will get is greeny, the second year they will bloom and they bloom in late spring/early summer
I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once. -Jennifer Unlimited- Yard Update -April 2012

oh yeah I am...got a yard full...oh and mine stay green year round here. and it'll take really close to that 21 days to get them up..although I have some this round came up in 7 flowers/100_1367.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/> flowers/100_1364.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/> and I could go on and on...but that's how you plant them and that's how long it takes

I like the red...they are spo pretty out there all alone. Don't ask me where the yellow came from, sometimes when Ashley is bugging me for some seeds to plant I'll just giver her a hand full...maybe she planted those Hollyhocks are great for hiding ugly stuff...see there is an old boat behind the red ones
