i don't know if they would grow here. we have a VERY long growing season, and it gets so hot and dry... and then hot and soooooooo wet. and horrible humidity. but, i'm trying a lot of different things...
It lasts a long long while when it's sealed up. My grandmother used this recipe, long before the days of pectin. The long boiling creates pectin from it's own juices I guess. It gets quite thick.
